Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute construction materials, tools, and equipment to designated areas.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic hand and power tools safely under the supervision of a certified foreman.
- Site Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety regulations.
- Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople with various tasks, including concrete pouring, framing support, and general site labor.
- Communication: Maintain clear communication with crew leads and other team members to ensure project milestones are met.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for 8+ hours a day, including lifting, bending, and standing.
- Willingness to Learn: A positive attitude and eagerness to gain new skills in the construction industry.
- Safety Conscious: Understanding of basic safety protocols and a commitment to wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Reliability: Dependable attendance and punctuality are essential.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively within a diverse team environment.
- Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license is preferred but not strictly required.
