Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites efficiently and safely.
- Site Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons) with various tasks to ensure projects stay on schedule.
- Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain basic construction tools and equipment under supervision.
- Site Preparation: Clean job sites, remove debris, and prepare areas for construction activities.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety standards, wear protective gear, and report hazards immediately.
- Measurements: Assist in measuring, cutting, and shaping materials as directed by the site supervisor.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and potential overtime.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Attitude: Willingness to learn new skills and a strong work ethic are essential.
