Responsibilities
- Assist with general site preparation, including clearing and cleaning work areas.
- Load and unload building materials, tools, and equipment from trucks.
- Operate basic construction tools and machinery safely under supervision.
- Help skilled tradespeople with various tasks such as framing, drywall hanging, or concrete finishing.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks as directed by the site supervisor.
- Keep the job site organized and free of debris.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials.
- Strong work ethic and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Reliable transportation to the job site.
- No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
- Must pass a background check.
