Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, and masons) with daily site tasks.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment safely.
- Prepare construction sites by digging trenches, clearing debris, and setting up forms.
- Operate basic power tools and hand tools under the supervision of senior staff.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Follow verbal and written instructions to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
- Perform basic measurements and assist in material inventory management.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.
- No prior construction experience required; we value attitude over experience.
- Ability to perform physical labor for long shifts, including standing, bending, and lifting.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout the day.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the job site.
- Basic reading comprehension and math skills for following safety and project instructions.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and on uneven terrain.
