Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance for residential and commercial clients.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate project execution.
- Ensure all work strictly complies with local, state, and National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
- Conduct thorough on-site inspections and troubleshoot complex electrical systems to identify root causes.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with project managers, foremen, and clients to communicate project progress and requirements.
- Assist in training junior apprentices and maintaining inventory of electrical supplies.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician License in the State of Illinois.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of verifiable experience in commercial and residential electrical projects.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, and power distribution.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety protocols and construction site safety procedures.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
