Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing and preparing the area for building projects.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport building materials to and from job sites using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic construction tools and equipment under supervision to support the crew.
- Cleaning & Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe job site by removing debris and adhering to safety protocols.
- Assisting Trades: Provide support to skilled tradespeople (electricians, plumbers, carpenters) as needed.
- Inventory Management: Help track and organize tools and materials to ensure efficient workflow.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting, bending, and standing.
- Willingness to Learn: A strong desire to learn the trade and follow safety guidelines.
- Communication: Basic ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screen; valid ID required.
