Responsibilities
- Assist skilled trade professionals (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily tasks and site preparation.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks.
- Keep job sites clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure safety compliance.
- Operate basic construction tools and machinery under supervision (e.g., forklifts, jackhammers).
- Follow safety protocols and instructions from site supervisors at all times.
- Perform general labor tasks such as digging, lifting, and hauling materials.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure project efficiency.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: Prior construction experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs) and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Reliability: Must have a consistent work history and be punctual.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions precisely.
- Tools: Own or be willing to purchase basic steel-toed work boots.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license is preferred for site travel.
- Teamwork: Ability to work well within a diverse team environment.
