Responsibilities
- Perform general construction tasks including material handling, site cleanup, and equipment operation under supervision
- Assist skilled tradespeople with foundation work, framing, and finishing tasks
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and maintain organized job site conditions
- Operate hand/power tools and light machinery with proper training
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and instructions
- Complete daily shift reports and maintain accurate material logs
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams during night operations
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – training provided
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license preferred (not required)
- Reliable transportation to job sites across San Antonio
- Willingness to work night shifts (6 PM - 6 AM) with rotating weekends
- Basic math skills for material measurements and inventory
