Responsibilities
- Assist in various phases of construction, including site preparation, excavation, and finishing.
- Load and unload building materials, tools, and equipment from trucks and storage areas.
- Operate basic construction tools and machinery safely under supervision.
- Perform physical tasks such as mixing concrete, cleaning job sites, and removing debris.
- Follow blueprints and verbal instructions from foremen to ensure accurate execution of tasks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure project milestones are met.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform manual labor for long periods, including lifting up to 50+ lbs.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of construction safety standards (OSHA) is a plus but not required.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to the job site.
- Basic math skills for measuring and material estimation.
- Team-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to quality and punctuality.
