Responsibilities
- Assist with general site preparation, including digging, grading, and debris removal.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Operate basic construction tools and equipment under the supervision of a foreman.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and protocols.
- Perform physical labor tasks such as lifting, carrying, and holding materials as needed for various projects.
- Communicate effectively with foremen and team members to ensure project milestones are met efficiently.
Qualifications
- Willingness to learn: No prior construction experience is required; we teach you the skills.
- Physical stamina: Ability to perform heavy manual labor for extended periods and work in various weather conditions.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, consistent, and able to work well in a team setting.
- Attention to safety: Must strictly wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow safety guidelines.
- Valid Driver’s License: Preferred for transporting materials, though not mandatory.
- High School Diploma or GED: Required.
