Responsibilities
- Assist with site preparation, including clearing debris and setting up equipment
- Load/unload construction materials and safely transport them to designated areas
- Operate hand/power tools under supervision (e.g., drills, saws, jackhammers)
- Maintain clean and organized job sites to ensure safety and efficiency
- Follow all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Support skilled trades with tasks like digging trenches, mixing concrete, or erecting scaffolding
- Complete daily equipment maintenance checks and report any issues
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – training provided
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds consistently
- Valid driver's license preferred but not mandatory
- Willingness to work in outdoor conditions (weather permitting)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Reliable transportation to job sites in Ohio/Texas
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team
- Flexible schedule availability including early mornings and weekends
