Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up safety barriers, and organizing materials
- Assist carpenters and skilled trades with material handling, equipment operation, and task completion
- Maintain clean and organized work areas, including proper waste disposal and site cleanup
- Follow strict safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, etc.) safely and efficiently
- Load/unload trucks and transport materials to designated work zones
- Complete daily equipment checks and report maintenance needs
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (lifting up to 50 lbs, standing/walking for extended periods)
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety standards
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills
- Willingness to undergo background screening
- Flexibility to work weekends as needed
