Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and electricians with material handling and site preparation
- Perform demolition, excavation, and debris removal using hand/power tools
- Erect scaffolding, barricades, and temporary safety structures
- Operate equipment like jackhammers, saws, and drills under supervision
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and comply with OSHA standards
- Read blueprints and follow verbal instructions from site supervisors
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; trade school certification a plus
- Minimum 6 months construction or labor experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training available)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic tool proficiency (hammers, saws, levels)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
