Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in clearing, cleaning, and preparing construction sites for daily operations.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from the job site.
- Tool Operation: Operate hand and power tools under the supervision of skilled tradespeople.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Assistance: Support carpenters, electricians, and other trades with basic tasks as needed.
- Documentation: Perform minor measurements and assist in basic paperwork or reporting.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in construction or general labor is a plus but not mandatory.
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform manual labor.
- Driver’s License: Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.
- Safety Conscious: Understanding of basic construction safety protocols and the ability to wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) correctly.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions effectively.
