Responsibilities
- Site Support: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various on-site tasks to ensure project milestones are met.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment at the job site efficiently.
- Site Preparation: Prepare work areas by cleaning debris, marking areas, and setting up temporary barriers or signage.
- Basic Operations: Operate basic construction equipment and power tools under direct supervision when necessary.
- Measurements: Assist in measuring, cutting, and fitting materials (wood, drywall, etc.) to specifications.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site by following daily cleanup protocols.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: Previous construction labor experience is a plus, but on-the-job training is available for motivated candidates.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Driver's License: Valid Texas driver's license and a clean driving record required.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to pass a background check.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
