Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, moving materials, and ensuring the area is safe and organized.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual labor.
- Assisting Trades: Support skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) by providing necessary tools and helping with installation tasks.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sweeping, digging, and basic cleanup duties.
- Tool Management: Organize and secure tools and equipment at the end of each shift to ensure readiness for the next day.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and standing for long durations.
- Experience: Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or general labor is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to adhere to strict safety schedules.
- Communication: Basic ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Valid ID: Must be authorized to work in the United States.
