Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from the job site.
- Site Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various manual tasks as directed.
- Site Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of debris to ensure safety standards are met.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction machinery and tools under the direct supervision of a foreman.
- Quality Control: Perform basic quality checks on work areas and report any safety hazards immediately.
- Documentation: Complete daily logs and timecards accurately as required.
Qualifications
- Willingness to Learn: A positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills on the job.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform manual labor for extended periods, including lifting, standing, and bending.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable with a consistent work history.
