Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing and cleaning areas, moving materials, and setting up equipment.
- Material Handling: Load and unload building materials, tools, and equipment from trucks or delivery vehicles.
- Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople by performing manual tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying, and holding tools.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and safe job site by removing debris and ensuring proper waste disposal.
- Reporting: Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to the site supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and standing on feet.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and committed to safety protocols.
- Communication: Basic ability to follow verbal instructions and communicate effectively with the team.
- Tools: Willingness to learn how to use basic hand and power tools.
