What You Will Do:
- Assist senior electricians with the installation and maintenance of electrical systems.
- Learn to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Perform basic wiring, conduit bending, and fixture installation.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Transport materials and tools to and from job sites.
Requirements:
- No previous experience is necessary; we will teach you.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure.
- Valid Driver’s License (clean driving record required).
- Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions.
Responsibilities
- Learn to use hand and power tools under supervision.
- Assist journeyman electricians with wiring, conduit bending, and fixture installation.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and schematics.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment (OSHA compliance).
- Perform basic site preparation and material handling.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Willingness to obtain a Virginia Electrical Journeyman license upon completion of training.
- Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure.
- Physical stamina to work in various weather conditions and stand for extended periods.
- Valid Driver's License (clean driving record).
