Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with daily project tasks.
- Load and unload building materials from delivery trucks and organize job sites.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Perform physical labor including lifting, carrying, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Follow verbal and written instructions from site supervisors and foremen.
- Assist with basic demolition and site preparation when needed.
Qualifications
- Previous construction or landscaping experience is preferred but not required.
- Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, rain, cold).
- Physical stamina required; ability to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs) repeatedly.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are required.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to protocols.
- Ability to work part-time hours with a flexible schedule.
- Basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials.
