Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by loading and unloading materials, cleaning debris, and ensuring the work area is organized and safe.
- Material Transport: Move heavy materials and tools to and from work zones using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- General Labor: Perform a variety of manual tasks including digging, carrying, holding, and positioning materials under the direction of site supervisors.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Equipment Care: Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance of construction tools and equipment.
Qualifications
- No Experience Necessary: Entry-level candidates with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn are highly encouraged to apply.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift in various weather conditions.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work flexible shifts as needed.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal instructions in English.
- Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license is preferred but not mandatory.
