Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites safely.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction equipment and tools under the supervision of skilled tradesmen.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company policies to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
- Cleanup: Maintain a clean and organized work area, including cleaning up spills and securing tools after use.
- Assistance: Provide general assistance to carpenters, electricians, and other construction crews as needed.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including standing, walking, lifting, and climbing.
- Experience: Previous experience in construction or general labor is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated candidates.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal instructions and communicate effectively with the team.
