Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Prepare construction sites by clearing, digging, and leveling areas.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and stack building materials, tools, and supplies.
- Tool Operation: Operate power tools, such as saws and drills, safely and effectively.
- Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople, such as carpenters and electricians, with various tasks.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean and safe job site by removing debris and waste regularly.
- Measurements: Read and interpret blueprints and follow instructions from supervisors.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (50+ lbs).
- Reliability: Must be punctual and have a consistent work history.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are preferred.
- Safety Conscious: Willingness to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a larger construction crew.
