Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and moving materials.
- Material Handling: Load and unload lumber, tools, and equipment safely using forklifts or manual labor as required.
- General Labor: Perform basic carpentry tasks, paint touch-ups, and general cleanup to maintain a professional site appearance.
- Measurements: Accurately measure and cut materials under the supervision of foremen.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety guidelines and wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Communication: Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure project milestones are met.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods in various weather conditions.
- Experience: Previous construction or landscaping experience is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training provided.
- Reliability: Must have a reliable form of transportation and be available for part-time shifts.
- Safety Mindset: Must demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and following instructions.
- Tools: Basic hand tools are a plus.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends or early mornings if project demands.
