Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair residential and commercial electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan work effectively.
- Ensure all electrical installations and repairs strictly adhere to the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues to ensure optimal system performance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all job sites.
- Communicate professionally with customers to understand their needs and provide updates on project progress.
Qualifications
- Must be willing to obtain required state electrical licenses and certifications upon hiring.
- Basic understanding of mathematics and electrical theory.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments, including heights and confined spaces.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable personal transportation.
- Physically fit to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy materials and bending/kneeling.
