Responsibilities
- Perform general labor duties on residential and commercial construction sites, including excavation, demolition, and cleanup.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various tasks to ensure project milestones are met.
- Operate power tools and construction equipment safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and supplies from delivery trucks and organize them at job sites.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, plans, and diagrams as directed by the site supervisor.
- Respond quickly to changing site conditions and assist with emergency repairs as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous construction labor experience is a plus but not required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Must be physically fit and able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn new skills.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
