Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute construction materials, tools, and equipment to job sites efficiently.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing job sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Equipment Operation: Operate heavy machinery and power tools safely under supervision.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Trade Assistance: Support electricians, carpenters, and plumbers by performing general labor tasks as needed.
- Transportation: Transport tools and materials to and from storage areas using forklifts or dollies.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting 50+ lbs repeatedly.
- Experience: Prior experience in construction or general labor is preferred but not required.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Safety Focus: Commitment to following safety regulations and wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Transportation: Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
- Communication: Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
