Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials and equipment to and from job sites.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various tasks as needed.
- Operate basic machinery and power tools under direct supervision.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site, strictly adhering to OSHA safety standards.
- Perform site preparation, including digging, trenching, and leveling.
- Remove debris and waste from work areas to ensure compliance with site regulations.
- Follow blueprints and verbal instructions provided by foremen or supervisors.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record required.
- Basic understanding of construction safety protocols and PPE usage.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and rough terrain.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
