Responsibilities
- Assist with site preparation, material handling, and debris removal
- Support carpenters, masons, and equipment operators as needed
- Follow safety protocols and maintain clean work areas
- Operate basic hand tools and power equipment under supervision
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Complete daily task assignments from project supervisors
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old and authorized to work in the US
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor
- Reliable transportation to job sites in Oakland
- Basic tool knowledge preferred but not required
- Availability for weekend shifts (Sat/Sun, 6am-4pm)
- Strong work ethic and team collaboration skills
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
