Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in the preparation of construction sites by clearing debris, removing obstacles, and establishing work areas.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the site using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual labor.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction tools and equipment safely under the supervision of a foreman.
- Site Maintenance: Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe by sweeping, hauling trash, and storing tools properly.
- Trade Assistance: Provide direct support to skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, electricians, and masons.
- Quality Assurance: Help ensure that all work meets project specifications and adheres to safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Willingness to Learn: No prior construction experience is required; we teach you the trade.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, kneel, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Reliability: Strong track record of punctuality and consistent attendance.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions effectively.
- Teamwork: Must be a collaborative team player who respects authority.
- Valid ID: Must possess a valid government-issued ID or Social Security card.
