Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily construction tasks and site preparation.
- Load and unload building materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks and store them in designated areas.
- Operate basic construction equipment and power tools under supervision.
- Perform site cleanup, debris removal, and ensure the work area remains organized and safe.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to maintain a secure job site.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, diagrams, and project specifications when required.
- Perform physical labor including digging, lifting, and carrying materials as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous construction experience is a plus but not required for entry-level candidates.
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic understanding of construction safety standards.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills.
