Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site safely and efficiently.
- Site Preparation: Assist in site preparation, including clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling grounds.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools (hammers, saws, levels) under supervision.
- Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons) with various tasks to ensure project milestones are met.
- Quality Control: Ensure work meets Apex Construction standards and client specifications.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized job site, adhering to all safety regulations and debris management protocols.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in construction labor or general labor is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) for extended periods.
- Work Ethic: Dependable, punctual, and willing to work in various weather conditions.
- Communication: Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
- License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Tools: Basic understanding of construction tools and safety gear is a plus.
