Responsibilities
- Perform general construction tasks including site preparation, excavation, and material handling.
- Operate power tools, hand tools, and heavy machinery safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons) with various project duties.
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to ensure project accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs frequently and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Experience with basic construction tools and safety equipment.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions precisely.
