Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespersons with material handling, site preparation, and basic construction tasks
- Operate hand/power tools safely and maintain organized work areas
- Follow strict safety protocols and report hazards to supervisors
- Load/unload equipment and materials at job sites
- Perform physical tasks including lifting, digging, and debris removal
- Collaborate with crew members to meet project deadlines
- Adhere to blueprints and site-specific instructions
- Participate in daily safety briefings and tool inspections
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – training provided
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license preferred (not mandatory)
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic understanding of safety procedures and teamwork
- Reliable transportation to job sites across San Diego
- Positive attitude and commitment to punctuality
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
