Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation, excavation, and material handling tasks
- Operate heavy equipment (excavators, bulldozers, forklifts) with proper certifications
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work zones
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material assembly
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications
- Perform quality checks and report defects to supervisors
- Complete daily equipment maintenance and safety inspections
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years commercial construction experience
- Valid OSHA 10/30 certification or willingness to obtain
- Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic math skills for material calculations
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Experience with concrete forming or steel erection a plus
