Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the site efficiently and safely.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic construction tools and equipment under supervision to support various trade activities.
- Assistance to Trades: Provide hands-on support to carpenters, electricians, and plumbers as needed.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean and organized job site by properly disposing of waste and organizing tools.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects and working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic and a proven track record of punctuality and dependability.
- Willingness to Learn: Eagerness to learn new skills and grow within the construction industry.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are preferred.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Experience: Previous experience in construction or general labor is a plus but not required (training provided).
