Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor tasks, including digging, lifting, and carrying heavy materials up to 50 lbs.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, and framers) with daily operations and site preparation.
- Operate basic construction tools and equipment, such as jackhammers, saws, and generators.
- Ensure job sites are clean, organized, and free of debris to maintain safety standards.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and delivery vehicles efficiently.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and site-specific safety protocols strictly.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, diagrams, and site layouts.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform strenuous physical labor in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).
- Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn new skills and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Valid driver's license (preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience in construction or general labor is a plus but not required.
