Responsibilities
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting materials, operating hand/power tools, and site cleanup
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, masons, electricians) with material preparation and basic installation
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, organized job sites
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project specifications
- Operate light machinery (concrete mixers, jackhammers) under supervision
- Complete daily timecards and report equipment/safety concerns to supervisors
Qualifications
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in outdoor conditions (heat, cold, heights)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Basic tool knowledge or willingness to learn construction equipment operation
- Strong work ethic and punctuality for daily 6:00 AM start times
- Ability to follow verbal instructions and work collaboratively in teams
- Willingness to obtain OSHA 10-hour certification (company-sponsored)
