Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual labor.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing the construction site by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction equipment and tools under the supervision of a foreman.
- Cleanliness & Safety: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times; adhere to OSHA safety regulations.
- Trade Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople (electricians, plumbers, carpenters) with various tasks as needed.
- Quality Control: Help ensure projects meet quality standards by performing basic inspections and measurements.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends and overtime as required.
- Work Ethic: A strong willingness to learn and a commitment to showing up on time every day.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license is preferred but not strictly required.
- Reliability: Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
