Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various construction tasks including material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment under supervision (e.g., shovels, wheelbarrows, saws)
- Load/unload construction materials and ensure organized storage at job sites
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain clean, hazard-free work environments
- Perform physical labor tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying materials, and demolition
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and instructions from supervisors
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – comprehensive training provided
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs
