Responsibilities
- Perform general manual labor duties including digging, lifting, and carrying heavy materials (50+ lbs) safely.
- Operate basic construction tools and equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and safety protocols.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with specific tasks as directed.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site by removing debris and adhering to site cleanup schedules.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and project instructions strictly to ensure a hazard-free environment.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, diagrams, and work orders to understand project requirements.
- Support framing, concrete, or finishing crews as needed to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications
- Must be physically fit and able to perform strenuous labor for long shifts (10+ hours).
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (rain, heat, cold).
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Basic math skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
- Willingness to submit to a background check and drug screening prior to employment.
- Experience in construction is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate with a strong work ethic.
