Responsibilities
- Perform general labor duties on construction sites, including loading, unloading, and carrying materials.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons) with various tasks as directed.
- Operate basic construction equipment and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, drawings, and safety plans.
- Ensure proper waste disposal and site cleanup after daily operations.
- Communicate effectively with site supervisors and team members to ensure project milestones are met.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid ID.
- Physically able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of construction safety protocols is a plus but not mandatory.
- Reliable transportation to job sites in DC and Northern Virginia.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as project demands require.
