Responsibilities
- Load and unload building materials, tools, and equipment from delivery vehicles.
- Assist skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, electricians, and masons, with daily tasks.
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding.
- Operate basic heavy machinery and power tools under direct supervision.
- Ensure job sites remain clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety standards.
- Follow verbal and written instructions to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
- Perform basic measurements and calculations for material requirements.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in construction or general labor is a plus; training provided for enthusiastic candidates.
- Ability to work well within a team structure and maintain a positive attitude.
- Basic math skills for reading blueprints and measuring materials.
