Responsibilities
- Site Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople with various construction tasks, including digging, lifting, and carrying materials.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials and tools to ensure a safe and efficient workflow.
- Site Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of debris in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools under the supervision of a foreman.
- General Labor: Perform general labor duties as directed, including setting up temporary fencing, barricades, and signage.
Qualifications
- Physical Fitness: Must be physically able to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and standing for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends and overtime when necessary.
- Transportation: Reliable transportation to and from job sites in the Louisville and Virginia areas.
- Attitude: A strong willingness to learn, follow instructions, and maintain a positive attitude on the job site.
- Requirements: No prior construction experience is necessary; we provide on-the-job training.
