Responsibilities
- Assist in various phases of construction projects, including residential and commercial framing, concrete work, and drywall.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site efficiently.
- Operate heavy machinery and hand tools (such as saws, drills, and levels) under strict supervision.
- Prepare and clean construction sites, ensuring a safe and organized workspace.
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and company policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Communicate effectively with foremen and team members to ensure project milestones are met.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects and standing for long hours.
- Willingness to learn new skills and follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
- Basic math skills for measuring, cutting, and estimating material quantities.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to the job site.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
