Responsibilities
- Execute diverse construction tasks including excavation, demolition, and material handling
- Operate heavy machinery (forklifts, jackhammers, etc.) with proper safety protocols
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with site preparation
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and comply with OSHA standards
- Read and interpret blueprints for accurate project execution
- Participate in scaffold setup/takedown and confined space entry
- Complete daily equipment maintenance and safety checks
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction experience in commercial/residential sites
- Valid OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Class B driver's license with clean driving record
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and construction equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Flexible availability including weekends and overtime
- Pass pre-employment background/drug screening
