Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various on-site tasks, including carpentry, masonry, and rough framing.
- Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment to ensure an efficient workflow.
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, excavating, and leveling the ground as directed.
- Operate basic construction machinery and power tools safely and correctly.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of job sites to adhere to safety standards.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read and understand simple instructions.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from supervisors.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
