Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate heavy machinery (bobcats, forklifts) and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with layout, framing, and finishing work
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Read blueprints and follow precise construction plans
- Manage inventory and transport materials to designated work areas
- Participate in daily toolbox meetings and quality assurance checks
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with zero-tolerance for tardiness
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions (heat, rain, humidity)
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Experience with concrete work, demolition, or site cleanup preferred
