Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites efficiently.
- Site Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople with daily tasks, including carpentry, painting, and general labor.
- Equipment Operation: Operate power tools, forklifts, and other machinery safely under supervision.
- Site Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Preparation: Prepare surfaces for construction work, including digging, leveling, and concrete pouring.
- Quality Control: Help ensure all work meets project specifications and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 50+ pounds frequently and stand/walk for long periods.
- Valid ID: Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Safety Awareness: Knowledge of basic construction safety protocols and OSHA standards.
- Experience: Prior experience in construction labor is a plus but not strictly required for enthusiastic candidates.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time hours, including weekends and overtime when necessary.
