Job Summary
We are currently expanding our operations in the Philadelphia area and need reliable laborers to assist with various construction projects. You will work closely with project managers and skilled tradespeople to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute building materials, tools, and equipment to designated areas.
- Site Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily tasks and operations.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Site Maintenance: Keep the job site clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure safety compliance.
- Site Prep: Prepare construction sites by digging, leveling, and clearing debris as directed.
- Quality Control: Perform basic inspections and report any issues or defects to the site supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekend shifts (Friday through Sunday).
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are preferred.
- Teamwork: Willingness to work collaboratively with a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
